Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 can't be made portable

This happens when you try to run Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 Portable

The Virtual Machine Monitor driver required by Virtual PC is missing.
Please reinstall Virtual PC and try again.

It is because is a virtualizer, not an emulator. It needs an acceleration driver so must be run as admin.

Permission error when creating portables with Xenocode Virtual Application Studio 2010

If you get this error when deploying a portable application to be run from the USB (although you can run it from anywhere you want, even the host computer):

Xenocode Virtual Desktop: The application must be run from a removeable storage device. Please contact your system administrator for assistante.

 disable this checkbox, under the Licensing tab:
Activate on removable storage devices (recommended for USB key deployment).

It the Xenocode Virtual Application Studio crashes just when launching or says something about fusion.dll, probably it is because of .NET Frameworks. Try to remove all of them deeply with dotnetf cleanup tool.
